ABOUT THE TEACHER
PROFESSIONAL BIO
​
Crystal Holloway has over 15 years experience playing various concert-style and marching-style percussion. She has played in various musical theater/opera productions both on stage and in the pit orchestra at San Francisco School of the Arts and UCLA, where she studied under the mentorship of world renowned percussionist and educator Mitchell Peters.
​
Crystal has also performed locally and internationally, playing drum set with an emphasis in traditional jazz styles of the 1920s - 40s as well as rock and roll, blues, bluegrass, and Americana of the 1960s - 70s.
​
Crystal also has extensive experience and education in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and has earned her M.A. degree in Professional Applied Behavior Analysis as well as attained board certification in the field. This enriching background has influenced her to teach with patience, kindness, and curiosity, adjusting her approach to meet each individual's needs.
