ABOUT THE TEACHER

PROFESSIONAL BIO

Greg Ozment is a professional drummer and percussionist, who has been playing music for 20 years and can teach in different styles from classical to jazz to rock. Originally from the Bay Area in Hayward, California, Greg moved to Orange County to study percussion where he completed his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Irvine, and his Master’s Degree in Music Performance from California State University, Fullerton. He has studied with Arthur Storch, Theresa Dimond, and Robert Slack, and has performed with other professional musicians, such as Ted Atkatz, Shaun Tilburg, and Casey Cangelosi. He is currently an active musician and teacher as well as a member of the Music Teachers Association of California and American Federation of Musicians Local 7 (Orange County).
